Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003522
A laboratory apparatus used to extract soluble components from a solid sample, commonly employed to determine the oil and water content of core samples. A solvent is heated to vaporize, condenses above the sample, and then drips through the sample, dissolving the soluble material.
