Rising-bubble apparatus
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003176
A laboratory device used to measure the minimum miscibility pressure (MMP) between a solvent and crude oil. It involves injecting small bubbles of solvent into a column of crude oil at increasing pressures until the bubbles disappear, indicating miscibility. This apparatus provides a visual and accurate determination of the MMP for gas injection projects.
