Dispersed bubble flow
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001116
A multiphase flow regime in a wellbore where gas is present as small, discrete bubbles uniformly distributed within a continuous liquid phase. This occurs at relatively low gas volume fractions and higher liquid velocities. The bubbles typically do not coalesce significantly and maintain their spherical or slightly distorted shapes.
