Routine core analysis
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003206
A standard set of laboratory tests performed on core samples extracted from a well to determine basic reservoir rock properties. These analyses typically include measurements of porosity, permeability, and fluid saturations (water, oil, gas). The results provide direct, ground-truth data for calibrating log interpretations and characterizing reservoir quality.
