Two-dimensional survey

A seismic acquisition program where sources and receivers are deployed along a single line to generate a cross-sectional image of the subsurface. This method provides a profile view, allowing for the interpretation of geological structures in one plane. It is often used for initial exploration or to tie existing well control.
