Temperature survey

Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003788

A logging technique that measures the temperature profile along the length of a wellbore. A temperature sensor is lowered into the well, recording data that can indicate fluid movement, gas leaks, cement integrity, or zones of fluid entry or loss. Anomalies in the temperature gradient often pinpoint specific downhole events or conditions.
