Electrical survey
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001275
The process of measuring the electrical properties of subsurface formations within a borehole using specialized logging tools. This survey provides data on resistivity, conductivity, and spontaneous potential, which are used to differentiate between hydrocarbon-bearing and water-bearing zones. The results are presented as an electrical log.
