Electrode device
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-001276
A logging tool component that uses electrodes to measure the electrical properties of the formation. These devices typically consist of current-emitting electrodes and voltage-measuring electrodes arranged in specific configurations. Electrode devices are used in laterologs and microresistivity tools to determine formation resistivity, especially in conductive drilling muds.
