Normal
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002563
A type of resistivity log that measures the potential difference between two electrodes, with a fixed spacing, to determine the formation's electrical resistivity. It comes in short normal (16-inch) and long normal (64-inch) configurations, indicating different depths of investigation. Normal logs are sensitive to both the invaded and uninvaded zones.
