Array induction
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000182
A type of induction logging tool that employs multiple transmitter-receiver coil spacings to measure formation resistivity at different depths of investigation. This allows for the characterization of the invaded zone and the uninvaded zone of a reservoir. The tool operates by inducing eddy currents in the formation and measuring the resulting magnetic fields, providing a continuous resistivity profile.
