Button resistivity
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-000498
A high-resolution resistivity measurement obtained from small, closely spaced electrodes mounted on pads that are pressed against the borehole wall. This measurement provides a shallow depth of investigation and is highly sensitive to the resistivity of the flushed zone and the presence of thin beds. It is a component of microresistivity logs, such as the MicroSpherically Focused Log (MSFL).
