Microspherical log
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002359
A type of microresistivity log that uses a spherically focused current to measure the resistivity of the flushed zone. It is similar in principle to the microlaterolog, employing a pad-mounted array to minimize borehole effects. This log provides a shallow, focused resistivity measurement for detailed formation evaluation near the wellbore.
