Microlaterolog
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002353
A focused microresistivity log designed to measure the resistivity of the flushed zone, which is the portion of the formation immediately adjacent to the wellbore that has been invaded by drilling mud filtrate. It employs a pad-mounted electrode system that focuses current into the formation, minimizing the influence of the borehole fluid. This log is particularly effective in highly saline muds.
