Microcylindrical log
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002351
A specialized well log that measures the electrical resistivity of the flushed zone, the invaded portion of a reservoir rock immediately surrounding the borehole. It uses small electrodes on a pad pressed against the borehole wall to achieve high vertical resolution. This log provides data for determining residual oil saturation and evaluating formation damage.
