Microresistivity
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002357
The measurement of electrical resistivity in the immediate vicinity of the borehole wall, typically within the flushed zone. These measurements are obtained using pad-mounted logging tools that are pressed against the formation. Microresistivity logs are used to evaluate the invaded zone, identify permeable beds, and determine mudcake thickness.
