Microlog
Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-002354
A shallow-investigating resistivity log that uses a pad pressed against the borehole wall to measure the resistivity of the flushed zone. It typically records two curves, a micro-normal and a micro-inverse, with different depths of investigation into the invaded zone. The separation between these curves can indicate permeability and the presence of mudcake.
