Wrist strap
Term · Semiconductors · MLC-T-SEM-000363
A device worn by personnel in semiconductor manufacturing environments to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. It consists of a conductive band that makes contact with the skin and a coiled cord connected to a common ground point. This connection safely dissipates static electricity from the body, protecting sensitive electronic components from damage.
