Drop on demand

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000113

A type of inkjet technology where individual droplets of material are ejected from a nozzle only when required, rather than continuously. Drop on Demand (DOD) systems offer precise control over droplet size and placement, minimizing material waste and enabling high-resolution printing. This method is widely used in binder jetting, material jetting, and direct ink writing processes.
