Perimeter

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000273

The outermost shell or wall of a 3D printed object, formed by the deposition of material along the contours of each layer. These perimeters define the external shape and surface finish of the part and contribute significantly to its structural integrity. The number of perimeters can be adjusted to control part strength and print time.
