Sintered
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000352
Describing a material or object that has undergone the sintering process, where individual particles are bonded together by heat and/or pressure without reaching their melting point. Sintered parts exhibit increased density, strength, and reduced porosity compared to their initial powder form. Many metal and ceramic additive manufacturing processes produce sintered components.
