Term · Oil and gas · MLC-T-OAG-003429

Describing a material formed by heating powdered particles to a temperature below their melting point, causing them to bond together into a solid, porous mass. Sintered materials, such as ceramics or metals, are used in drilling tools for their hardness and wear resistance. This process creates a strong, consolidated structure without full liquefaction.
