Absolute lethal dose
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000056
The minimum dose of a substance that causes death in all exposed individuals within a defined population under specific experimental conditions. This measure provides an upper limit for toxicity, indicating the dose at which 100% mortality is observed. It is distinct from the median lethal dose (LD50), which represents the dose causing death in 50% of the population.
