Absolute lethal concentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000055
The smallest concentration of a chemical in air or water at which every test organism exposed to it dies within a stated exposure period. Toxicologists write it as LC100 and report it together with the species tested and the exposure duration. It is a stricter endpoint than LC50, the concentration that kills half of an exposed group.
