Lethal time
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006526
The duration of exposure to a toxic agent required to cause death in a specified percentage of a test population. This metric is used in toxicology to quantify the speed of action of a lethal substance. It is commonly expressed as LT50, representing the time at which 50% of the population has died.
