Acoustic startle response test
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000150
A neurobehavioral assessment that measures an involuntary motor reflex in response to a sudden, intense auditory stimulus. This test evaluates the integrity of neural circuits involved in sensory processing, attention, and fear conditioning. It is widely used in preclinical research to study neurological disorders and the effects of neurotoxicants.
