Acroparesthesia

A neurological symptom involving abnormal sensations, such as tingling, numbness, pins and needles, or burning, primarily affecting the hands and feet. These sensations occur without an obvious external stimulus and result from nerve dysfunction or damage. Exposure to certain neurotoxicants, including heavy metals like lead or mercury, and some industrial solvents, is a known cause of this condition, which is also a symptom of carpal tunnel syndrome.
