Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000510

A measure of the concentration of a specific chemical species in a solution, defined as the amount of substance of that species divided by the total volume of the solution. This quantity is also widely referred to as molar concentration or molarity. Its SI unit is moles per cubic meter (mol/m³), but moles per liter (mol/L) is more commonly used in chemistry.
