Molarity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007473
A measure of the concentration of a solute in a solution, defined as the amount of substance of solute per unit volume of solution. It is expressed in moles per liter (mol/L), often denoted by the symbol M. Molarity is temperature-dependent because volume changes with temperature.
