Standard solution

A solution of precisely known concentration, prepared from a primary or secondary standard, used as a reference in quantitative chemical analysis. It is employed to determine the unknown concentration of another solution through titration or calibration. The concentration is typically expressed in molarity (mol/L) or normality (eq/L).
