Reference value pH standard
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010087
A solution with a precisely known and reproducible pH value, used for calibrating pH meters and establishing the pH scale. These standards are typically prepared from specific buffer solutions with high purity and well-defined compositions. The pH values of these standards are determined by primary methods, such as the Harned cell.
