Reflectance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010088
The ratio of the radiant flux reflected by a surface to the radiant flux incident upon it. This quantity describes the ability of a material to reflect electromagnetic radiation. It is a dimensionless value, often expressed as a percentage, and varies with wavelength and angle of incidence.
