Percentage transmission
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008625
The ratio of the radiant power transmitted through a sample to the radiant power incident upon it, expressed as a percentage. This value indicates how much light passes through a substance at a specific wavelength. It is inversely related to absorbance, with 100% transmission corresponding to zero absorbance.
