Transmittance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012257
The fraction of incident electromagnetic radiation that passes through a sample. It is defined as the ratio of the radiant power transmitted by the sample to the radiant power incident upon it. This quantity is dimensionless and ranges from 0 to 1, or 0% to 100%.
