Osmotic concentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008352
The concentration of osmotically active particles in a solution, expressed as the number of osmoles of solute per liter of solution. This value is temperature-dependent due to the volume expansion of the solvent. It is a measure of the total solute concentration that contributes to osmotic pressure.
