Ultimate capacity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012392
The maximum amount of a solute that can be extracted from a given volume of aqueous phase by a specific organic phase under defined conditions. This value represents the saturation point of the organic phase for the solute. It is expressed in units of mass of solute per volume of organic phase, such as grams per liter.
