Binding capacity
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001228
The maximum amount of a specific analyte that can bind to a given quantity of a binding agent under defined conditions. This property reflects the total number of available binding sites on the agent. It is often expressed in units of mass of analyte per unit mass or volume of the binding agent.
