Binding isotherm
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001230
A graphical representation showing the amount of a substance bound to a receptor or adsorbent as a function of its free concentration at a constant temperature. It illustrates the equilibrium binding characteristics, providing information about binding affinity and capacity. Common models include the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms.
