Partial isotherm

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008486

A graphical representation showing the amount of a single component adsorbed onto a surface from a liquid mixture as a function of its concentration in the bulk liquid phase. This measurement is conducted at a constant temperature and pressure. It quantifies the adsorption behavior of one specific solute in a multi-component system.
