Atomization curve

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012901

A graph of the absorbance of an analyte against the atomization temperature in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. The signal rises with temperature until it reaches a plateau, and the atomization temperature chosen for the method lies on that plateau. It is established alongside a pyrolysis curve, which plots absorbance against the pyrolysis temperature.
