Characteristic mass
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001883
The mass of an analyte that produces a specific absorbance signal, typically 0.0044 absorbance units, under defined experimental conditions in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. This value is a measure of the sensitivity of the analytical method for a particular element. It is expressed in picograms (pg).
