Appearance temperature
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000748
The minimum temperature at which a specific analyte signal can be detected in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry. This temperature is determined by heating the sample in a graphite furnace and observing the onset of the atomic absorption signal. It is influenced by the matrix composition and the chemical form of the analyte.
