Autoregression
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001004
A statistical model that predicts future values of a time series based on its own past values. It expresses a variable as a linear combination of its previous values and a random error term. This method is applied in chemometrics for analyzing time-dependent chemical data, such as spectroscopic measurements over time.
