Bayesian statistics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001148

A framework for statistical inference where probability is interpreted as a measure of belief or confidence in an event or hypothesis. It involves updating these beliefs as new data become available, using Bayes's theorem to combine prior knowledge with observed evidence. This approach yields a posterior probability distribution for parameters of interest.
