Bayesian
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001145
Relating to a statistical approach that updates the probability for a hypothesis as more evidence or information becomes available. This method uses Bayes's theorem to revise prior probabilities based on new data. It contrasts with frequentist statistics, which interprets probability as the frequency of an event in a long series of trials.
