Weight of evidence

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012670

An approach to decision-making that involves considering all available relevant information from multiple sources to reach a conclusion, rather than relying on a single piece of data. In toxicology, this method integrates data from experimental studies, epidemiological observations, and mechanistic understanding to assess the potential hazards of a substance. This approach is often used in regulatory risk assessments.
