Sufficient evidence

A body of data and information that establishes a causal relationship between an exposure and an adverse health effect. This level of evidence indicates that confounding factors, bias, and chance can be ruled out with reasonable confidence. It is a classification used in toxicology and epidemiology to assess risk.
