Limited evidence

A classification indicating that there is some, but not conclusive, scientific data to support a particular association or effect, such as a causal link between an exposure and an adverse health outcome. This level of evidence suggests that further research is needed to confirm or refute the observed relationship. It falls short of 'sufficient evidence' or 'strong evidence'.
