Weight composition
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012669
The distribution of the organisms in a population across weight classes, showing how many individuals fall into each range of body weight. It describes the size structure of a population, which can shift when a toxicant slows growth or kills particular size classes. It is usually shown as a histogram of numbers or proportions per weight class.
