Comparative proteoglycomics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002296

The systematic analysis of differences in proteoglycans and their associated glycosaminoglycan chains between different biological samples or conditions. This field aims to identify changes in proteoglycan structure, abundance, and localization that are relevant to biological functions or disease states. Mass spectrometry and chromatographic techniques are commonly employed for their characterization.
