Computational photochemistry
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002349
The application of theoretical and computational methods to study the electronic structure, dynamics, and reactivity of molecules in excited electronic states. This field uses quantum mechanics to model light-induced processes, such as absorption, emission, and photochemical reactions. It provides insights into reaction mechanisms and excited-state properties.
